Santa Rosa Beach Photoshoot

I styled this shoot last summer in Santa Rosa, Florida, and it was shot by Lauren Kinsey. The models, Bryan and Kelly, are actually a real life husband and wife, and they also own their own photography studio, Black & Hue, which you should check out.

This shoot was a ton of fun, even though we had some obstacles along the way. We planned the shoot a month or so ahead of time, and we had to work it around a trip I was taking to Florida, which was only for a few days. Little did we know that the one tropical storm of the summer was going to hit at the same time. Fortunately for us, the storm had passed by the time we ended up shooting.

These photos are the result of that shoot, and I'm so happy with how they turned out.

Saron & Neal's Wedding Inspiration Sneak Peek

This is a board for the wedding of Saron & Neal! Their wedding was this past weekend, and it was amazing. I can't wait to share the photos! Saron is one of my very dearest friends, and we have had so much fun figuring out all the details of this event. We decided on an organic/woodsy theme with southern elements and a backyard feel: casual and a whole lot of fun.

Saron & Neal's Christmas Tree Farm Engagement Shoot

This is an engagement shoot I styled in December for one of my favorite people in the world. Saron and I have been friends for fifteen years, and I am so excited to be styling her upcoming wedding! These are just a handful of the amazing shots captured at Saron and Neal's engagement shoot, photographed to perfection by Lauren Kinsey.

Santa Rosa Beach Photoshoot Inspiration Board

This is the inspiration board that set in motion the vision for a shoot I did in July with the amazing Lauren Kinsey. She is a fabulous photographer and new friend whom I hope to work with regularly in the future! I think we achieved something more beautiful than I could have expected, thanks largely to Lauren and our amazing models, Bryan and Kelly. I'm so excited to get to share those images with you soon, so be on the lookout! But for now, you can check out the inspiration board below. I wanted the shoot to feel soft and romantic, set against an ocean backdrop, with soft colors and natural textures.
